Welcome to the West Chester Neighborhood Consortium website. The leaders/representatives of these neighborhood groups began meeting in the fall of 2006 with the intent of forming a consortium to address Borough-wide issues. These meetings will continue as we develop a more formal structure, although each group will remain independent.

    PZBID Meeting February 13, 2007

    Next PZBID committee meeting is scheduled for 2/13/2007 at 7:30PM. PZBID will revisit the issue of height at this next meeting. Here is a copy of the revised position paper from the WC Neighborhood Association Consortium to be presented to the PZBID committee at that meeting.

    PZBID Meeting January 9, 2007

    PZBID committee met on 1/9/07. Here are some documents that were presented to the committee explaining the residents position and the basis for it's recommendations to the committee. The resident's position paper on downtown building heights was updated on 2/02/07 based on additional research and input.

    PZBID Committee Meeting Dec. 12th, 2006

    PZBID committee met on 12/12/06. Several positions were presented along with a "Blue Ribbon" Proposal. Here are more details about the plan and two maps; one showing the existing height zones and one showing the revised height zone proposal introduced by Council member Carolyn Comitta at the December PZBID Committee meeting. The committee will continue the discussion of height option zones at their January 9, 2007 7:30pm meeting.

    The Historic Architectural Review Board (HARB) presented the following resolution concerning building height to Borough Council on Thursday, December 7th, 2006.
